I'm looking to set up a solar panel system at home and I've heard mixed reviews about EcoFlow as a brand. Can anyone share their experiences with EcoFlow products for home solar setups? Are there any other brands you would recommend instead?

I've seen a lot of folks using EcoFlow, but honestly, I think it's mostly a hype thing. They work okay but a lot of serious users prefer more robust systems. Some portable chargers can be useful, but for home setups, you're probably better off with something more permanent. What I would recommend is looking into systems that aren't just plug-and-play, so you can avoid all the proprietary issues that come with these setups.
From what I've gathered, EcoFlow's products, especially the SHP and Powerstream, have had quite a few issues. Reports of high failure rates and lack of parts have been concerning. It seems they did improve their support, but that's more of a recent development. Just be cautious if you're going down that route! You might want to explore alternatives that provide better reliability and support.
