Should I Stick with Dewalt for My Brad Nailer or Switch Brands?

I've got a full setup of Dewalt tools, but I've been hearing a lot of mixed reviews about their cordless 18g brad nailer compared to other brands. Some suggest that I should consider switching to another brand and maybe use a battery adapter instead. I'm a bit concerned about the noise from the flywheel design, but I'm mainly using it for building frames and small projects. Would it be smarter to switch or stay loyal to Dewalt? Thanks for any advice!

I've used both Dewalt and other brands, and for heavy-use situations, Dewalt is great. But I found myself going for a Milwaukee nailer after getting frustrated with the flywheel delay on my Dewalt tools. It really depends on your personal preference and how you plan to use the nailer. If you're just doing light work, Dewalt will definitely do the job without the hassle of hoses!

I'd recommend sticking with Dewalt! Their newer models have improved a lot compared to older ones, and honestly, it’s not as bad as some folks say. Plus, since you already have Dewalt tools, it just makes it easier to keep everything compatible if you stay with the same brand.

I had a similar dilemma! I actually went for a Ryobi instead of Dewalt and saved quite a bit. While it’s not perfect and the adjustments could be better, it works for small projects. It all comes down to how much you're willing to spend for casual uses. If you just need a reliable tool for minor tasks, keep that budget in mind!
