Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to gardening and recently got a lavender plant as a birthday gift. I transferred it to a larger pot with multi-purpose compost and have been watering it every couple of days due to the heat. However, a week or so ago, a few smaller stems dried up and died, and now it seems like the buds are drying out too. I'm worried that I might be overwatering or underwatering it. Based on the picture I included, does my lavender look healthy, or should I be concerned about its wellbeing?

Looks healthy to me too! This is pretty typical for lavender at this time of year, so I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on it and enjoy the gardening journey!
It looks like your lavender is just going through a normal phase. Mine is doing the same thing this time of year, and it's pretty common! Don't stress too much about it.
Your plant looks good! The dried heads might just be from the blooming cycle. I recommend cutting them off near the top to encourage new growth. You could even keep the dried flowers for a nice scent in your home or use them as moth deterrents.
Awesome tip, thanks! I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Thanks for the reassurance!
