I'm working on a project where I need to choose between two solar panels: the SEG solar SEG-430-BTD-BG or the JA JAM54D41 MB 440W. Both will be paired with Q8MC-72-M-US (240V) inverters. Anyone have advice on which one is better and why? Thanks for the help!

Besides price, check how each panel performs under different conditions. If you’re in an area with lots of cloudy days, see which one has better performance in less sunlight. Also, check reviews on durability and warranty. Sometimes the warranties can give you insight into which company stands behind their product more confidently.
First off, you should consider the pricing. If both panels cost the same, which is $185 each, think about their efficiency and performance ratings. The JA panel is slightly higher in wattage, which typically means it can produce more energy. So if you can accommodate the slightly larger size and want to maximize output, the JA might be the way to go.
