Should I Keep This Sycamore Tree Growing in My Garden?

I just moved into my new home and there's a sycamore tree in the garden that's growing quite large but it's leaning to one side. I'm wondering if I need to get rid of it or if it's worth keeping. What should I do?

Before you decide to chop it down, think about if you actually want a sycamore tree in your garden. If you do, just let it be! They can turn into beautiful trees and might provide some nice shade. But if you're not a fan, it's best to take action now before the roots spread too wide.

I've got a few sycamores myself, and when they were younger, they leaned a bit while reaching for sunlight. I used some tree supports to straighten them. It worked well—now they're standing strong! So if you want to keep it, that might be a good option.

I think it really depends on what you're aiming for in your garden. If you're okay with it growing, just watch it for a while! Trees can surprise you with their growth. But if it's really bothering you, maybe consider reaching out for some help.
