I'm planning to install wall sconces next to my bed instead of using table lamps, but I'm unsure about the ideal height for installation. My home is currently undergoing major renovations, and I need to inform my electrician about the height I want the sconces placed. Any advice?

Yeah, I’ve heard the same range! Also, AFF means 'above finished floor,' just so you know. It’s a standard term used in construction and interior design.
Most recommendations I see suggest mounting wall sconces around 60 to 72 inches from the floor. This height usually works well for bedside lighting, making it easy to reach without being too high or too low. Just keep in mind your bed height and personal preference!
