Is an Oil Compressor Good for Spraying Lacquer?

I'm looking to buy an air compressor for spraying lacquer on wood, but I'm not sure if an oil compressor is the right choice. Would the PKO 24L B2 model be a good option for this purpose?

I wouldn't recommend using an oil compressor for spraying lacquer. The main issue is that oil can contaminate the air, which isn't ideal for your finish. Plus, oil compressors tend to be noisy, so you'll need to wear ear protection every time you use it. I had one but switched to an oil-less compressor after realizing how much better it is. The difference in performance was huge!

You might want to look into an air filter to clean out any potential oil contamination, but honestly, it might be better to just go for an oil-less model. They are quieter and will give you cleaner air for your projects!
