I'm curious about the performance and longevity differences between brushless and brushed impact drivers, especially for DIYers versus professional tradespeople. Do you think the added costs for brushless tools are justified?

As a pro, I can tell you brushless tools are a game changer. The performance difference is huge! I have both a brushless M18 multitool at work and an old brushed one at home, and using the brushless just feels way more powerful. I'd never go back. Plus, the pricing on brushless tools these days is so reasonable, it often doesn’t make sense to buy brushed anymore.

What's the price difference you're willing to pay for brushless? Why do companies still bother with brushed?
