M18 Short Throw Press Tool Warranty Confusion

Asked By CraftyBuilder92 On

I recently bought the M18 Short Throw Press Tool from Home Depot and was told it came with a 5-year warranty. However, when I called Milwaukee to report an issue, they claimed the tool doesn't actually have a warranty. Has anyone else faced a similar situation?

I found this link that mentions a 5-year warranty on the M18 Short Throw Press Tool: [M18™ Short Throw Press Tool w/ PEX Crimp Jaws](https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/2674-20C). It's surprising that Milwaukee said there’s no warranty—maybe they have different policies or the tool was sold as a 'tool only.' Definitely worth pushing back on them about it!

I also called and was told something similar. It’s frustrating because it seems like there's a lack of clarity on their end regarding what’s covered.

Sounds like a mix-up, honestly. I had a similar issue with a different tool where the customer service reps gave me conflicting info. It might help to ask for a supervisor or try reaching out through another customer support channel.
