Hey everyone! I've been lurking around some woodworking forums for a while but finally decided to join and ask for some advice. I've sold my DWE7491RS and am now looking to upgrade to a better table saw. I found a used SawStop Contractor Saw for $1,200, which seems to be in excellent condition. It comes with a 36" T-glide fence, a mobile base, and the seller is also including a Freud dado blade, brake, and throat plate. Mobility is important for me since I work in my garage, and my dust collection setup is pretty basic right now. As a hobbyist who mainly works with sheet goods, I have a track saw and I'm gearing up for a project in my master closet. My wife thinks getting this upgraded saw is key. I'm just second-guessing this purchase and could use some thoughts on whether this is worth it or not!

Definitely go for the SawStop! It's a fantastic upgrade from any jobsite saw, especially in terms of safety and performance. Even if you have some second thoughts later, remember you bought it used, so you can always sell it for a similar price if needed. No regrets!
