Has anyone here considered switching from DeWalt to Milwaukee tools? I'm personally a fan of my DeWalt gear, but the mismatch between my yellow and red tools kind of messes with my OCD. I hear a lot of good things about the Milwaukee M12 lineup, and it seems like they've got some better deals going on in Canada. What about you? Why did you stick with your current brand, or are you contemplating a switch?

I’m too invested in my DeWalt setup to switch to Milwaukee now. I started with DeWalt after my dad handed down his drill when I entered the trades, and it just grew from there. I do think Milwaukee has some cool tools, but I’m not changing brands anytime soon.
I've got a bit of a mixed bag myself; I own a handful of M12 tools but mainly stick with DeWalt because they suit my needs better. If DeWalt doesn’t offer what I want, I'm open to trying out other brands.
For me, it’s all about the economics. I’ve put so much money into DeWalt that I can't just jump ship. I find their tools to be durable and the battery technology just works better for what I do. Milwaukee might have some specialized tools, but I feel like DeWalt gives me that flexibility I need.
Totally agree! The battery tech is a game-changer, especially if it’s the heart of the tool.

That makes sense! I'm also invested in DeWalt, but I can’t help but look at some of Milwaukee's newer offerings. They seem to have great innovations.
