I'm trying to install a ceiling fan in my living room, and I was informed by the home manufacturer that the ceiling outlet is fan-ready. I've got a Hunter Fan, but I'm really struggling to figure out how this specific fan mount attaches. I can't seem to line up any two holes to secure the screws. I've attached an album with photos of the setup. Do I need a different mount or something?

Look closely at the slots in the middle of the fan mount tabs. You should be able to rotate the mount around the ceiling fixture until those slots align with the outer screw holes on it. Once aligned, just grab the correct screws, use a washer with a lock washer, and tighten everything in place. I've not worked with this exact type before, but that's generally how I'd tackle it.
I haven't dealt with this kind of ceiling fan mount before—do you have the model number? Might help to find specific instructions!
I took a shot at sketching out the setup for you! Check it out [here](https://imgur.com/a/Uybdo1w). However, I feel like the holes you pointed out might just go into the drywall rather than being secure. Am I misunderstanding something?
Thanks for the sketch! But I think those holes just lead into the drywall—it doesn't seem secure. Here's the tech sheet I found; maybe I’m reading it wrong? [Check it out](https://alliedmoulded.com/wp-content/uploads/9305-K.pdf).

I just found the fixture page! It’s [this one](https://alliedmoulded.com/product/3-5-dia-round-fixture-support-box-for-use-with-nonmetallic-sheathed-cable-9305-k/).
