What’s Going On with My Orchid?

I've noticed my orchid doesn't seem happy lately, and I'm not sure why. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? I haven't repotted it since I bought it, and I water it as often as my other blooming plant. Any advice would be appreciated!

Sounds like your orchid might be a bit cramped and thirsty! If you haven't repotted it yet, it might be time to upgrade to a bigger pot. Also, check the soil — it might be a little too small for the roots. Orchids typically love to have moist but not soaking wet roots, and from what I can see, those roots look a bit dry. You could try soaking the pot in water for a couple of hours weekly to perk it up!

Thanks for the tips! I didn’t know about soaking it like that. I’ll definitely give that a try!

Definitely keep an eye on the moisture levels! Orchids can show signs of stress when they don’t get enough water. Those leaves can start to wrinkle when they’re thirsty. If you see withered flowers but some still looking good, that's a clear sign it's unhappy. Just remember to let it dry out after watering, because sitting in water can cause rot!

That makes a lot of sense! I’ll work on rehydrating it properly, thanks!
