Hey fellow vegetable growers! I was checking out cabbage netting for my fall crops and stumbled upon these cabbage moth decoys. Honestly, I've been gardening for a long time and I've never heard of using fake butterflies to scare off cabbage moths! For those who don't know, they're supposed to deter those pesky moths from turning our veggies into their caterpillar playgrounds. Has anyone tried using these decoys? Are they effective, or is it just a gimmick? I'm a little skeptical, so I'd love to hear your real experiences without any sales pitches!

I’m pretty skeptical too. I mean, butterflies aren’t exactly predators, so I doubt they get scared off by fake ones. I’ve got a mix of butterflies in my garden, and I still end up with those annoying caterpillars.
