What Are Some Flowering Plants for Indoor Growing Without Full Sun?

I'm living in an apartment without any outdoor space for gardening in direct sunlight. Besides orchids, I'm curious about other flowering plants I can grow indoors. I'll be using grow lights, so I'm looking for options that can bloom without needing full sun exposure. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out Impatiens and some varieties of Begonias, as they don't need much direct sunlight. Also, Christmas Cacti can bloom too, though they only flower once a year. They’re beautiful and very low maintenance!

Anthuriums are a solid pick, and they develop beautiful flowers even without a ton of sunlight. Additionally, Astilbe and New Guinea Impatiens can thrive indoors without direct sun, and fuchsia is another fantastic option. Don't overlook colorful ferns too, like painted ferns—they can be pretty stunning!

Peace Lilies are excellent for low-light conditions, but their flowers are a bit subtle. If you prefer something with more noticeable blooms, Kalanchoe is a good choice. Just keep an eye on the watering, as they can be finicky if you're not giving them enough light. I also have a red Maranta that blooms tiny but delightful flowers all summer. If you're up for it, definitely look into Hoyas; they can be really rewarding to grow!
