Turning a Toilet Into a Garden Fountain: Is It Possible or Just Trashy?

Hey everyone! I recently replaced an old toilet in my new house, and I'm thinking about transforming it into a garden fountain. Has anyone attempted something like this before? I'm really hoping to make it look appealing, but I could use some tips or tutorials on how to make it functional for my plants. What do you all think—am I being too ambitious, or could this actually work?

Honestly, I think it might come off as too trashy. If the toilet is vintage, you could sell it instead of converting it. Most places probably won’t even take it as a donation, so it might be best just to get rid of it.

Not sure a toilet would work as a fountain without looking tacky. However, if you still have the cistern, mounting it on a wall as a quick-fill station for watering cans could be practical. Plus, if it has a half flush, you can set it up for different tank sizes!

You could try turning the toilet tank into a sink by using a dripper fountain that feeds into a birdbath. As for the bowl, if you really want to use it, consider burying it for a ground-level fountain. Just a heads up though, it might look a little off!

Haha, or you could buy a replica "peeing boy" fountain and aim it into the bowl for a super quirky look!
