Hey everyone! I'm looking for suggestions on a weatherproof lock for my backyard gate that won't freeze during the winter. I really appreciate any recommendations you have. Thanks a lot!

For an outdoor-specific lock, the S&G environmental lock is top-notch, but I know it can be pricey at around $100. If you’re looking for something more affordable, check out the Abus marine-rated locks. They’re available on Amazon in different styles and are quite reliable!
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely check out those options.
I recommend going for a water-resistant combination lock. This way, you won't have to deal with keys! I’ve been using one for a while, and it works great even in harsh weather conditions.
Most locks tend to freeze up in those damp, cold conditions. A tip—try draping a piece of mud flap over the lock to help redirect rain and snow. Or if you have one, keeping a self-igniting propane torch handy could save you from being locked out!

Do you know if it’s available on Amazon or at any stores in Canada?
