I'm looking to get a cordless ratchet that can fit in tight spaces without being flimsy. I've seen a lot of hype around the M12 tools and their cordless ratchets, but I currently have a bunch of 20V Dewalt batteries. I'm curious if the M12 is better or just as good as the Dewalt model. Any recommendations?

I really appreciate this thread because it shows how Dewalt users are open to exploring other brands. I've had a good experience with M12 tools, and they work great in tight spots. Just saying, if you find a tool that does the job as well at the same price, I'm all for recommending it!
Honestly, I'd say the Dewalt DCF500 is one of the best cordless ratchets out there, especially if you're sticking with the 20V system. It's a beast but works on 12V too if you're keen on that. Check out some reviews; I think you'll appreciate its performance in tight spaces!
If you want the convenience of having both socket sizes, I'd recommend the Makita model. It's pretty versatile, eliminating the need to buy multiple ratchets, which is super handy. It might be worth checking out if you want to save space and money!

I saw that video you mentioned! I think it’s awesome that the head can be interchangeable too, which saves you from having to buy multiple tools for different socket sizes.
