I just moved into a new house and absolutely have no clue how to open this AC condenser fuse box. I need to clean the AC compressor fins, but first, I want to remove the fuse, which I think is located inside this box. When I push the latch and try to open the door, it feels stuck at the top. I'm not sure if it's just stuck from paint or if I'm doing something wrong. Any tips?

Remember, the front panel usually flips up instead of just swinging out. Just grab it from the bottom and pull it back—should pop right open!
It could be painted shut too. The door hinges at the top and latches at the bottom. If you pull it to the left first, it will come out easier. Good luck with your cleaning!
You actually need to slide the door down first after pushing the latch. Once it’s down a bit, the door should swing open like a regular door. Just be careful—it might stick at different points, so applying some force and holding the latch can be a bit tricky at first. It should get easier once you get the hang of it! Also, to close it, just swing it back and push it up until the latch clicks into place.

Yeah, it might take some muscle! Just make sure you push the tab in far enough so the door can get down and swing. The first time can be a bit of a puzzle, but you'll figure it out!
