I have a bit of an odd question! I just got myself a new snake plant and I want to keep it in my room, but I already have a large pothos there. Do I need to keep them in completely separate rooms for the quarantine period, or is it okay if I put them about 7 feet apart? I just want to make sure I'm doing it right!

It's actually recommended to keep new plants in completely separate rooms for the quarantine period. Most pests can’t travel far, but some, like thrips, can fly a good distance. Keeping them apart helps minimize any risk of infestations.
Definitely a good call! And don't forget to keep an eye on both plants for any signs of issues during that time.

Got it! So about two weeks of separation is ideal, right? Just trying to be careful since it’s been a while since I brought home a new plant.
