Can I Use Solar Power for My Outdoor String Lights?

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to power my outdoor string lights with solar energy since I don't have an outlet on my deck. I plan to use the lights only about once a week for an hour or so, and I've got roughly 20 feet of lights. Is this a practical solution?

If you're set on using solar, you'd have to get a solar panel, a battery for storing energy, and an inverter for AC power. While it's possible, it's not the simplest solution. A rechargeable power station could work too. Honestly though, a good old extension cord might save you a lot of hassle, especially since you're only using the lights occasionally.

It's worth noting that there aren't solar-powered 120v outlets available, unfortunately. That's just not a thing right now. If you're looking for a workaround, a long extension cord might be your best bet!

Using solar power for your lights isn't really feasible. Instead, you might want to look into solar-powered or rechargeable lights that can work independently outside. They could be a more convenient option for your needs.
