What’s the Best Grout-Free Option for My Shower Renovation?

I'm planning to remodel two bathrooms soon, and I really want to avoid dealing with grout. The tile surrounds in my current showers are old and gross, but the rest of the bathrooms are fine with new tile and vanities. I'm thinking a nice solid slab, like quartz, would not only look great but also be low-maintenance. Is it possible to install a large slab of quartz directly in my shower? Or are there any other products you'd recommend? I remember seeing Kohler Choreograph a few years back, but I'm curious about what other options exist that don't give off a cheap hotel vibe.

There are loads of solid panel shower systems available! Onyx has some great choices that effectively break up the flat panel look you might be worried about. It’s funny how many people are scared of that 'hotel look' but the most basic styles often get picked. Check out their gallery for some inspiration!

I just installed a Castico shower panel system, and I'm pretty pleased with it. Sure, I'd love real quartz or marble, but this is a good alternative without the hassle of extensive waterproofing. The panels are about 1/2" thick, which feels sturdier than a lot of thinner options out there. Totally subjective, but I prefer how they look compared to Onyx panels.

Solid slabs are a fantastic choice! If you add some niches with that slab, you can really upgrade the overall look and avoid that hotel feel.
