Is This Milwaukee Tool Deal Too Good to Be True?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy an installation driver kit from Milwaukee, which usually costs over $600 AUD here in Australia. I came across someone on a marketplace selling it brand new for $450, and he's willing to negotiate down to $400. He claims he runs a legitimate business and has a lot of new Milwaukee gear listed. My question is, are there any counterfeit Milwaukee tools out there? If not, how is this seller able to sell at such a lower price than the big stores?

It's possible that this seller is buying tool kits on sale, breaking them up, and selling the individual items. I’ve had a similar experience where I purchased genuine Milwaukee tools from sellers on eBay. They’re typically reliable, especially if they offer standard buyer protections. If you’re worried about receiving a counterfeit, just be cautious and check their ratings or return policy!

Exactly! Sometimes sellers find bundles they can break apart for profit. If they're selling a package deal, they might even sell the extras for regular prices and make a good margin, especially if they have connections for discount deals.
