I'm in the process of getting my garden redesigned, but despite multiple discussions with the designers, they don't seem to grasp my vision. I'm looking for recommendations on popular garden design software that professionals use, as I want to tackle this myself. Any suggestions?

I've used DreamPlan NCH for our house and a bit of the garden. It's okay, but it lacks a variety of models. If I remember correctly, you might need to manipulate the measurements a bit to make it all fit just right.
I usually kick things off with a sketch to get my main ideas down—think about key features, hardscaping, beds, walls, etc. Then I take measurements and use SketchUp to lay it out digitally. If you have a rough design on paper, try feeding it into ChatGPT for some quick design ideas!
