Can I Use Bubble Wrap as a Spacer for Insulating Air Ducts?

I'm working on insulating my air ducts and I'm wondering if I can use regular bubble wrap as spacers between the rigid duct and the insulation wrap. Does anyone know if this is a good idea?

Using bubble wrap isn't the best option for spacers. If you're tight on time and looking for something effective, I recommend using self-adhering closed cell insulation like Armaflex instead. It'll do a better job at insulation and sealing things up.

Yeah, Armaflex or Aerocell are solid choices. Just keep in mind, it might take some effort to fit it properly. And remember, any gaps can cause sweating, so make sure everything is tightly sealed!
