I've been diving into plant care over the last few months, and it wasn't always smooth sailing. My plants used to wither away, but I've started learning about their specific needs. Two major upgrades that transformed how I care for them were getting a moisture meter, which takes the guesswork out of watering, and investing in grow lights because I seriously underestimated their light requirements. What about you all? Are there any essential tools or techniques you swear by?

I tried semi-hydroponics and it was a game changer! It takes away the risks of over or underwatering. As I added more plants, it became hard to remember who needed what and when, but with semi-hydro, I can easily see who needs water without getting up. Plus, plants like Alocasias really thrive in that setup. It's definitely a bit of a learning curve, but totally worth it in the end!

Absolutely! I moved my Monkey Mask to leca and it's thriving now. It struggled in soil, but after the switch, I've seen two new leaves and tons of new roots! Less guesswork once the plant adjusts.
