Hey everyone! I've got a cement tank on my property in NE Connecticut, and I'm really curious about its purpose. The house was built in 2004, and the tank appears to have been installed before the previous owner moved in back in 2015. Interestingly, nothing was mentioned in the disclosure when I bought the house, and I haven't looked into it much since I figured we'd just get rid of it eventually. Has anyone seen something like this before? What do you think it might be used for? Here's a picture of it: [View Image](https://imgur.com/a/reddit-q7ZsaPH)

From what I've seen, it might be a backup water storage tank. It's a pretty common feature, but they usually have access to check the inside. Maybe there's another reason for it?

Yeah, I thought it might be for water storage too. But without access, it’s hard to verify. Curious about any other theories!
