When’s the Best Time to Buy and Plant Bluebells?

I'm looking for some advice on bluebells for next spring. A family member wants some, so could anyone tell me when's the best time to buy and plant them? Also, are there any reliable online stores where I can purchase them? Thanks in advance!

If you're comfortable with it, you could also consider digging them up from someone’s garden if they’re okay with that. Just a heads up, though—identifying the bulbs can be tricky since a lot of them look alike!

I had that issue earlier this year too! It can be challenging to tell which is which without knowledge.

You can definitely pre-order bluebells now from major bulb suppliers. They’re typically planted in the autumn, so you’ll want to get them in the ground before the first frost. I usually aim for late November, except for tulips. It’s a good idea to plan ahead!

Thanks for the tip! I've noticed prices online vary a lot, making it tricky to find a trustworthy seller.
