Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a chainsaw-carved black bear statue, ideally around 4-5 feet tall. I've been dreaming about this piece for a while, and as I'm wrapping up my move from New England to Kansas City, I realize I should've grabbed one while still here. I'll be driving through Southern Vermont, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri, mostly along Route 90 and 71. If you have any suggestions for where I can find one, especially along my route, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Check out Black Hearts Chainsaw Art in Missouri. They have a solid selection of wildlife carvings, and I bet you'll find your black bear there!
They usually sell these kinds of statues at state fairs. I know Iowa has them in mid-August, so check if Missouri's events have any chainsaw carvers lined up. It could be a great way to find your black bear!
You might want to connect with a Facebook group dedicated to chainsaw carvers. People there can give you leads on where to find one near your route. And hey, if you snag that bear sculpture, don’t forget to share some photos with us!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check them out!
