I'm growing Swiss chard, dill, basil, and cilantro, but I can't seem to keep my fresh harvest from wilting unless I use plastic bags. I'm trying to avoid plastic at all costs, and I've been using cotton grocery bags to store my veggies in the crisper drawer of the fridge (except for basil). Unfortunately, they still end up limp the next day. Any alternative storage tips?

Try putting your cotton bagged veggies inside a glass container or Tupperware! It helps keep the moisture in without using plastic. Just make sure the container isn’t too tight so they can breathe a bit. Give that a shot!
If you're open to a slight compromise, you could also consider using cellophane. It’s not plastic in the traditional sense and can help keep your herbs fresh longer without them wilting. Give it a go if you're looking for something a bit different!

Is an airtight container better? I'm not sure if they need air or not.
