I'm in a bit of a pickle here with a wall that's built right against my property fence. My neighbors aren't too fussed about maintaining their side, and I'm dealing with mold growing on the wall panels. I'm considering sealing the gaps in the fence and anywhere water can get in using spray foam or caulk. After that, I want to attach some pressure-treated wood backing to the studs, seal any remaining gaps, and then replace the panels. Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts on this approach? Unfortunately, the fence isn't removable, so I'm looking for the best way to handle this situation.

Looks like a tough spot! Your plan to seal gaps and add pressure-treated wood is spot on. Make sure to use a good mold-resistant paint once you replace the panels to prevent future growth. Also, consider adding drainage or a slight slope to redirect water away from the wall if that's an option for you. That should help keep mold at bay!
Definitely! Also, ensure that the wood you use is properly treated to resist moisture; that’ll help you in the long run.

I thought I uploaded them! Give me a second to add the pictures.
