I'm working on making wildflower seed bombs, but I ran into some issues. I couldn't find the clay powder I needed, so I ended up skipping that in one batch and instead used bits of paper egg cartons. Now, while they were drying, I discovered that a ton of wildflower sprouts popped up in both the egg cartons and a closed container of leftover seeds and compost. I'm super excited they're growing but also totally clueless about how to care for them! Right now, they're just on my desk with minimal light, and I've been trying to keep the compost moist. I've moved the egg cartons outside, but I'm worried about the closed container with sprouts. How often should I water them? What should I do with all these wildflower babies? Any tips would be amazing!

That's so cool! It sounds like you're already doing a great job getting those wildflowers to sprout. Since you're in an apartment, you could consider getting some small pots and move them outside or place them in a sunny spot on your balcony or windowsill. Just be careful with that closed container – maybe open it up for a bit to let some air in, but cover it if you're concerned about bugs. Water them when the soil feels dry, but don't overdo it. Good luck with your little garden!
Wow, sounds like quite the adventure in gardening! If you can, it might be best to transplant some of them into pots so that they have space to grow. Just make sure to use a lightweight potting mix. Since you mentioned you've moved some outside, check the weather too, especially if they're still young! And for watering, give them a good soak when the top inch of the soil dries out. This way, they won't get too dry or too soggy. You're doing great, just keep at it!
For real! Those sprouting seeds will surprise you! Just keep an eye out for those first blooms!

Definitely! A little air circulation is important, but keep an eye on moisture levels too. It's all about finding that balance.
