I've noticed that my indoor succulents are getting a bit dusty and I want to clean them up. Is it better to use canned air, or do you have other recommendations for removing dust without damaging the plants?

Make sure it’s actually dust! Sometimes what looks like dust is actually a protective coating called farina. If you're sure it's just dust, you could lightly mist the plants with water first, and then use a paper towel to wipe down the surfaces. Avoid using canned air; it can get too cold and freeze your succulents, which is risky. I recommend getting a small air squeezer like this one [here](https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Cleaning-Instruments-Keyboards-Telescope/dp/B07Y1TKXVK) for a safer option!
You could also give them a shower in the sink! Just be sure to let them dry out properly after, so they don't get too much moisture.
A paintbrush is a great tool for gently brushing off dust without harming your plants. Just be careful around the delicate areas!

Good to know! I’ll check if there’s any farina before I start cleaning.
