I'm curious if anyone has experimented with using a brush blade on the Milwaukee dual battery trimmer. I suspect Milwaukee might not endorse the idea, but I'm thinking it could perform really well since it seems powerful enough to handle it. It already works great with heavier 3.3 mm (.130 inch) string!

What do you need to switch out to a blade? Can you easily swap between the blade and string head, or do you have to change the entire head every time? I'm new to using string trimmers and it would be great to use a blade sometimes!
I use a 10-inch miter saw blade on my gas trimmer, so I can't see why a 6 1/2 or 7 1/4 blade wouldn't work on the Milwaukee. Should be fine!
But do saw blades actually handle stemmy weeds well? I'd love to know how effective they are.
For switching, just remove the string head and use components from a quick lok brush cutter. They match the dual battery trimmer size, and the blade fits right on!
