I'm working on insulating a closet that has an exterior wall, and I've installed some ISO foam boards using construction glue. However, there are a few small gaps between the pieces and along the edges. Is it okay if I apply spray foam to fill these gaps? I'm planning to let it dry and then trim off any excess with a utility knife. Also, I've heard there can be issues with spray foam around windows, so I want to ensure that it won't push too hard against the foam boards.

It's fine to use spray foam between those boards. There's also a red tape that can help seal the seams if you want an extra layer of protection. I would recommend sealing the bottom of the boards too.
Yeah, spray foam works great. Just remember not to overdo it, or it could push against your foam boards. No worries about filling it up, just make sure it’s well-trimmed when you’re done!
You can definitely use spray foam for those gaps! Just be careful about how much you apply since it expands a lot. I usually leave a slightly larger gap, like 3/8 to 1/2 inch, since it's easier to fill. Make sure to finish it off with some foil tape for a good seal.
