Hey everyone! We recently relocated the air return for our HVAC system and ended up with this quirky little space in the floor. I'm curious if anyone has fun or strange ideas for how to utilize it. An in-floor laundry chute would be super convenient! Just drop your clothes right down and save yourself some trips to the laundry room.
Why not turn it into a cool time capsule? You could stash some fun items in there and seal it up, leaving a treasure for the next person who might redo the floors! Just imagine their surprise!
How about making it a trap door? That would definitely add some mystery to your floor! You can keep it secret or use it for storage.
