Hey everyone! I'm trying to find some solid info on the Kalanchoe 'Prebella', but it seems like there's not much out there. I stumbled upon a German site that mentions its parentage might be a cross between Kalanchoe blossfeldiana and something unknown. I'm curious if this hybrid has different care needs compared to the typical Kalanchoe—like whether it can handle full sun better or if it blooms under different conditions. Has anyone here grown 'Prebella' and can share their experiences?

I've never actually come across 'Prebella', but I'm familiar with Kalanchoe 'Mirabella', which is a hybrid of K. blossfeldiana and K. manginii. You might want to check that out if you're looking for something similar!
I don't have much info on 'Prebella', but just to clarify, the German site states that the parentage is unknown—so they're just comparing it to Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, particularly in terms of flower appearance. The whole situation is still a bit mysterious!
Got it, thanks for explaining! It does make sense that some genes from blossfeldiana could be involved, especially if you look at the leaves.

That's a solid suggestion! It does look a lot like 'Mirabella', so 'manginii' might just be the other parent for 'Prebella'.
