I'm curious if it's possible to swap the 6" bar from my M12 Hatchet for the 8" bar that's designed for the M18. I've been using the M12 system for years and love how my 6" Hatchet performs for clearing trails. Has anyone tried this bar exchange?

Absolutely! I’ve got the M18 hatchet bar on my M12, and it really improves the tool. I've even seen folks using a 10" or 12" on the M18, but the 8" seems like a sweet spot for the M12. Got any photos to share?
I've actually been using a 10" bar on my M12 for camping and quick trail work, and it works brilliantly! Going bigger than the stock bar definitely has its perks.
I personally think the M12 should have come with the M18 bar from the start. Swapping it is a no-brainer—zero downsides! Unfortunately, I can't upload pics right now to show how it looks, but trust me, it’s a game changer.
