Hey woodworking community! I'm a proud new owner of a Festool Track Saw, having upgraded from my Ridgid Track Saw. The main reason for the switch was the amazing variety of accessories available in the Festool ecosystem. Right now, I'm on the hunt for a parallel guide system to help me make consistent rips of sheet goods. I'm currently working on cutting down some 5x10 MDF sheets into 2" strips. I know a table saw would be the best choice for this task, but my work site isn't set up for that. I've noticed that Festool's Parallel Guide extensions are designed to reference the cut side for precision. If anyone knows of other guide systems with a similar offcut referencing feature, I'd love to hear your suggestions! Thanks in advance!

I'm a bit confused about how you envision this working since you'd be referencing the drop piece. Have you checked out TSO’s website? They have a variety of products designed to connect with guide rails, and I’ve found their track squares to be really solid.
Just to clarify, I usually operate my track saw on rigid insulation. The offcut gets supported, and the stop references the cut piece pre-cut while accounting for the kerf.
Don’t forget about Seneca and Woodpeckers products along with TSO! They all have great options for parallel guides.
TSO offers a narrow stock system that might fit your needs perfectly. I think it could work for what you're looking to accomplish!
Absolutely, TSO is definitely on my radar! I've had a good experience with their square for my Ridgid setup.
Yeah, I have their square for my Ridgid saw, but I’m retiring it soon! Their system and some others can reference both the keep side for narrow and wide rips. In the past, I’ve used an offcut from materials to match thickness and support the track while cutting from the left towards the right. Definitely an option to consider!
