I've been using my trusty 14V DeWalt Cordless Drill for nearly 10 years, but it's starting to struggle with charging and performance. I'm in the market for a contractor-grade replacement and a solid screwdriver/drill bit set that will last me a long time. I'm no pro, but as I'm nearing retirement and have a growing list of projects at home, I want reliable tools to make everything easier. What brands or models should I consider for the best longevity and performance? Thanks in advance for your help!

Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Makita are all solid choices. Remember, once you get a battery for one brand, you’ll want to stick with that system for any new tools. Festool is on the pricier side but is highly recommended; our installers swear by it and they make good money using their gear.
I'm all about Hilti tools—they offer great service and solid quality. If you're looking for something durable, they might be your best bet.
