I came across a 60v trimmer at Home Depot that was on clearance for $130, but when I got there, they were out of stock. Instead, the employee offered me a deal on a trimmer and blower combo with a 9ah battery for $320 (so $336 after tax). I went ahead and purchased it, thinking I could return it if it wasn't a good deal. I'm not well-versed in DeWalt pricing, so I'm looking for some opinions on whether this was a worthwhile purchase. For context, the trimmer model is DCST972 and the blower model is DCBL772.

That combo is definitely a smoking deal! You won't regret it.
That sounds like a great deal!
You really scored with that deal, especially if you check the price of a 9ah flexvolt battery on its own! The flexibility of the universal power head means you can use it for other attachments like pole saws or brush cutters too, not just the trimmer. That's super handy!
I appreciate it! I know these tools often go on crazy sales, and I hesitated when he told me the price. The attachment compatibility was a major selling point for me; it just makes everything more versatile.

Awesome, that's good to know. I was surprised the guy offered me the deal since the trimmer alone was on clearance. I wanted to grab a blower too since it's a gift for my mom, and battery-powered tools are a lifesaver for her.
