Hey folks, I'm looking for some advice on using a custom 9.0 Ah battery with my M12 vacuum. I've been using a 5.0 Ah battery, but it only lasts about 13 minutes. Has anyone tried a custom battery setup?

I'd steer clear of that idea! If you're considering those 9 Ah batteries from Aliexpress, just know that they likely won't deliver 9 Ah in reality. If they do, they might use cheap cells that won't handle the load and could burn out quickly. Instead, there are kits to build your own battery pack using 9 high-capacity 18650 cells, which can be wired safely for decent runtime without overheating. Still, if you're in need of longer usage, I'd suggest just getting more 5.0 Ah batteries or looking into a different vacuum option.
Are you planning to really create a 9 Ah custom pack? Just curious about what cells you’re considering. Honestly, I doubt you’ll find an 18650 cell with 4500 mAh that can handle high discharge rates. You might end up with something that’s not powerful enough for your vacuum.
