I'm in a bit of a bind. My mouse sander's Velcro pad is completely worn out, and I ordered a replacement that's still a few days away. Unfortunately, there weren't any pads available at my local Home Depot either. Is there a workaround I can use to keep sandpaper attached to the sander for a few days until the new pad arrives? I'm open to any suggestions! Also, if there's a better place for questions like this, please point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot!

If you're okay with using the old Velcro, you could just glue the sandpaper onto it. I get that you'll be stuck with one pad, but it'll save you some time! Just keep in mind you'll need to replace it again when it wears out.
How about using a piece of wood to create a temporary sanding block? Just glue some sandpaper onto it, and you can use that while waiting for your new pad. It's super easy and should get the job done!
You can grab some peel-and-stick Velcro strips at Home Depot. Just stick those directly to your sander to hold the sandpaper until your new pad shows up! It's a quick fix that should work perfectly for a short time.

Yeah, I see your point, but I don't want to find myself in the same situation again with a worn-out pad. I’ll think about it though!
