Does Milwaukee’s Warranty Cover Water Damage?

Hey everyone! I recently bought an M12 impact from Home Depot about 8 months ago, and I've noticed some strange behavior lately — it powers on by itself when the battery is connected. The issue started after it got splashed with water during a service call. Does Milwaukee offer any warranty coverage for issues like this?

Definitely send it in for service! Just explain that it's acting up on its own. You can usually return it to the store where you bought it or check Milwaukee’s website for specific return instructions. Good luck!

You might not want to mention the water incident when you send it in. I’ve heard stories of people using tools that have been submerged in water, and they still work fine! Just make sure to describe the symptoms without mentioning the splash incident too much.
