I recently had my shower tile done about two months ago, but I've noticed that the grout in the corners is a bit cracked and has come undone. Can I just cover it with silicone caulk to fix the issue? Here's a picture for reference: [https://imgur.com/a/nSfZqSc](https://imgur.com/a/nSfZqSc).

What you need to do is remove any loose grout first and then use a specialized tile caulk, which comes in colors that match your grout. They usually have both sanded and unsanded types available at home improvement stores. It's a bit pricier, but it lasts much longer!
You shouldn't just slap silicone over cracked grout. It should've been caulked from the beginning! Definitely a good idea to use proper caulk that matches your grout color.
Thanks for the tip! Is there any prep I should do before applying the caulk, or can I just go ahead and caulk it right away?
Right? That shower wall should have some give. Grouting just doesn't work in corners like that.

I appreciate that! I didn't even know there were different types of caulk for tiles. I was planning to use regular bathroom caulk.
