Should I Choose Two T5s or One T8 for My Grow Lights?

I'm looking to set up grow lights for my plants and I'm torn between using Barrina's T5 lights or T8 lights. I have eight packs of T5 lights and four packs of T8s, both being similarly priced. My setup includes four shelves that are about 10 inches deep and 28 inches wide. Should I use one T8 light per shelf, or go with two T5 lights instead? What would you recommend and why?

I'd recommend going with one T8 light per shelf. T8s generally provide a good spread of light while being energy-efficient. They’re also easier to install, and since you only need one per shelf, it saves you a bit of hassle compared to fitting in two T5s.

I understand why you might lean towards T5s since they allow for more light coverage with two lights. However, T8s would be the streamlined option here! You get a uniform light distribution which is really beneficial for plant growth.
