I'm working on a kitchen build and want to make sure my floor can handle it. I've got 2x10 floor joists spaced 16 inches apart, spanning 14 feet. I've also sistered additional 2x10s every other joist for extra support. Since this is on a crawl space and there's no second story above, I'm wondering if this is sturdy enough for the heavy stone countertops and appliances. I live in an area with heavy snow loads as well, so I'm curious if that affects things too. What do you all think?

I'd recommend having a structural engineer take a look just to be safe. They can give you a solid assessment based on your specific setup and local conditions.
It really depends on the wood species and grading of your boards. The 2x10s are on the edge but should hold up well, especially since you've sistered some additional supports. Just make sure everything's graded correctly!
You might want to check out this tutorial that explains loads and how to use span tables. It’s super helpful and gives you a better idea of what's safe for your setup: awc.org/publications/tutorial-for-understanding-loads-and-using-span-tables/

The existing joists are Douglas fir from the 70s, but I added some AC2 boards alongside. Does that change anything?
