I'm on the lookout for decent Japanese pull saws but I'm not super experienced in the area. I typically find that Amazon has a lot of products from AliExpress, which makes it tough to know if I'm getting a good quality saw. I've come across Axminster and I'm curious about their offerings since I've never purchased from them before. I often shop on AliExpress and my results have been hit or miss! Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch!

I got one from Lidl once when they had them, and I was pleasantly surprised! They hold their edge pretty well, so it could be a budget-friendly option to try.
Have you checked out KM Tools? They offer worldwide shipping and have a great selection of Suizan-brand Japanese saws. Might be worth a look!
Axminster is a solid choice! I used to buy a lot of my tools from them back in the day before I retired, and they supplied me with quite a few of my Japanese saws, all of which were great quality.
For hand tools, I highly recommend Workshop Heaven or Classic Hand Tools. I've sourced almost all of my tools from them and they've never disappointed me. They aren't the cheapest options, but the quality definitely makes it worthwhile.
Funny enough, I saw that Aldi has some Japanese pull saws in their middle aisle this Sunday! Wasn't expecting that, but I think they might be worth a shot.

Yeah, Axminster's good, but if you're hunting for top-notch hand tools, Workshop Heaven might have the edge. Their products are premium quality but they do come with a higher price tag. I've got several Japanese saws from them and they are fantastic.
