Hey everyone! I'm totally new to growing succulents, especially indoors, and I have a question about putting them in a large terrarium. I'm worried about overwatering since I know that can lead to root rot and mold. Is there a way to avoid having to flood them? Do I seriously need to take them out, water them thoroughly, and then put them back in? I'd love any advice to help me get this right. Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, terrariums aren't usually recommended for succulents, especially for newbies. Succulents thrive in dry, arid conditions, and the humidity from a terrarium can lead to issues. Also, be cautious about sunburn due to the glass trapping heat. If you want to go ahead, just be super mindful of these factors and maybe check out some guides on succulent care for more tips!
Terrariums can be tricky for succulents because they tend to trap humidity and restrict airflow, which is pretty much the opposite of what succulents need. If you decide to go for it, you'll have to either find a steady watering routine or keep removing the plants to water them properly and then put them back. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit of a balancing act! Good luck!
Yeah, I agree! I tried keeping succulents in a terrarium once, and it was a challenge. I didn't realize how much moisture would build up inside. Definitely do some research to see what might work best for you!

Totally true! In my experience, they do fine only if you monitor moisture levels closely. I suggest using a moisture meter just to be safe!
