I'm trying to decide between Ego and Ryobi lawn mowers. I'm curious about which brand is more reliable and better overall based on your experiences. Any thoughts?

I've had my Ryobi zero-turn mower for five years, and it’s been working great! No major issues so far, which is a relief.
I’ve heard good things about Ego mowers, but here's the catch: once their battery died just a day after the warranty, they wanted $350 for a replacement! I've seen so many dead Ego batteries at the recycling center — it makes you wonder about their longevity.
So does this mean Ryobi is the better choice then?
